Service Description

This 5-day, 50 hour course is designed as an introduction to law enforcement professionals who will conduct or support dignitary/executive protective service operations for elected officials, political appointees, members of the court, high profile individuals of wealth or potential targets of terrorism and/or criminal acts. There will be classroom, field operational planning, and exercises to include live fire drills. The student will gain the knowledge and skills to organize, plan, and execute protective security detail. Prerequisite: 1. LEO only (Military or Private Security by invite only). 2. All students must be current in weapons qualification in accordance with respective agency policy. Required Training Materials: Duty Weapon 200 rounds of ammunition Three magazines Magazine pouches Body armor Holster for concealed carry (NO duty rig, shoulder holster, or cross draw) Unmarked vehicle preferred Ear and eye protection for range Small flashlight (Example: Streamlight /surefire) The class will be held at the Williamson County Sheriff's Office Training Academy on Tuesday November 12, 2024 with various locations the following days in the Austin area. Williamson County Sheriffs Office 8160 Chandler Road Hutto, Tx 78634 Tuesday 12th - classroom WCSO Training center 0800-1700 Wednesday 13th - range day WCSO Range 0800-1700 Thursday 14th - Motorcade / SIMS scenarios COTA 0800-2200 Friday 15th - Live Exercise all over Austin then COTA concert 0800-2300 (Times are subject to change) Saturday 16th – Debrief WCSO Training center 0900-1200

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 5 days of registering are 100% refundable, unless the following restrictions apply: Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 5 days before a scheduled class begins. This gives others the opportunity to register for the class. If you have to cancel your class, and do so at least 5 days before the class, you may use the credit towards any future class. At any time after registering, or within 5 days of the course, you may transfer the registration to another person.
