Service Description

**This training is open to leaders at all levels, including, Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains, and Commanders.** Join us for an engaging 24 hour course on leadership in today's challenging times when law enforcement is faced with adversity in what seems to be a continuous crisis. We will get to the heart of true leadership and the pillars that separate leaders from managers. We will go in depth about employee appraisals, how to effectively utilize them in evaluations. We will cover counseling and career development to gain insight into providing guidence and support to your team memebers career progression. Furthermore, we will discuss the root causes behind problemed employee and learn effective approches to address and resolve their issues. We will discuss and strategize how to master the art of effective communication Topics Covered: 1. Leadership During Unprecedented Times: How to navigate and lead through uncertain and challenging situations. 2. Leading in Today's World: Understanding the evolving dynamics of law enforcement and adapting leadership styles accordingly. 3. Crisis Leadership: Effective strategies for leading during crisis situations and managing the impact on your team. 4. The Principles of Leadership: Exploring the core principles that every successful leader should embrace. 5. Setting SMART Goals: Learn how to set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals for your team. 6. Leading vs. Managing: Understanding the difference between leading and managing and when to apply each approach. 7. Evaluations vs. Annual Appraisals: Discover the benefits of ongoing evaluations and how they differ from traditional annual appraisals. 8. Employee Development: Strategies for fostering growth and development within your team, including mentoring and coaching. 9. Discipline and Teachable Moments: How to address disciplinary issues while turning them into teachable moments for growth. 10. Cancellations within 5 days of registering are 100% refundable, unless the following restrictions apply: Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 5 days before a scheduled class begins. This gives others the opportunity to register for the class. If you have to cancel your class, and do so at least 5 days before the class, you may use the credit towards any future class. At any time after registering, or within 5 days of the course, you may transfer the registration to another person.
