Israel Limas is a bi-lingual law enforcement professional who began his career in 2009. Israel attended
and graduated from the University of Houston – Peace Officer Academy where he obtained his Texas
Peace Officer License & Certifications. Israel began his career as Patrol Officer and was later promoted to
Patrol Corporal. Israel’s duties as a Corporal were to mentor, train and supervise front line shift Patrol
Officers.
Israel later promoted to the rank of Detective where he was assigned and successfully investigated
numerous cases ranging from property crime, statutory white-collar/financial crime, and all major crimes
against persons. Israel became the lead Investigator for the Crimes Against Person’s Unit where part of
his duties was to train, guide and lead investigative teams within the division. Israel maintained a case
load of child abuse related cases and all violent crimes to include Homicide, Family Violence and Sexual
Assaults. Israel has received numerous specialized trainings which have been utilized in successful
investigations and prosecutions.
Israel has been a Law Enforcement instructor since 2015. He has taught many courses and officers of all
ranks. Israel has implemented, taught and is proficient in the use of numerous Law Enforcement topics
to include Hostage Negotiations, Interview & Interrogating, Criminal Investigations, DWI/ Impaired
Driving, Mental Health, Eyewitness Evidence/ Identification, Child Sex Trafficking, Child Abuse, Sexual
Assaults, Homicide & Assault Investigations, Courtroom Security & Safety, Crime Scene Operations/
Processing & execution, Background Investigations and much more.
Israel is currently commissioned with the Waller County Criminal District Attorney’s Office as a Criminal
Investigator. Israel holds several Instructor proficiency certifications with State of Texas agencies to
include TCOLE & TXDPS. Israel has the ability and knowledge to teach commissioned and noncommissioned personnel to include Law Enforcement, Security and other private & public sector
professionals.
